Ein Lichtlein Her

Inspired by the old German saying:
Wenn mann glaubt es geht nicht mehr,
Kommt von irgendwo ein lichtlein her

You brought this unexpected ray of light
Rushed through morning-frosted windows

The touch of radiance bears warmth of life
Blossoms, erupts this dawning sky

Your wild, mesmeric eyes you wear as gems,
Spectrolite cabochons in mid-day sun.

Grooved to your wax and wane circadian
I see it run away as quickly as it comes

For that, I hadn't shared the dream i fear
Worse, watched unfolded for me this day

I would hand my heart over to my dear
Still beating, in her hands, she'd walk away

Not knowing when she'll return again,
At least for a while, this candle glow is dim

Spring emerged, and you must tend to gardens
For your taken earth embodiment is pulsing
